Jared and Tanya Cox
Jared and Tanya are both graduates of The Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, with B.A. in International Ministries. Jared grew up in Arizona while Tanya grew up in T.C. Michigan. Jared is continuing in education at Western Seminary in the MDiv program. They have four children, Josiah 8, Isaiah 6, Gabriela 4, and Jeremiah 2. They have lived and worked in Latin America for 9 years
Stan Risinger - President of BMI
Stan & Julie Risinger and their family live in Central Illinois. They have four children ages 25-15. Stan operates his family trucking business, Risinger Bros. Transfer. Stan began working on trucks in high school and over the years climbed through the ranks of the business to CEO and owner. Stan has earned degrees in Diesel Mechanics and Master in Business Administration. Stan has a love for God and the Bible and a burden for needy souls. He has a desire to give tangible support for those whom God obviously calls and deploys to the mission field. Stan’s business life is his mission field and uses his business as his platform for ministry. Stan is actively mentoring men, teaching the Bible, and seeks to live Christ in his circle of influence. Stan believes his current kingdom role is to provide admin support, financial support and a business mind for God’s purposes. Business can offer so much to missions and it is our appropriate response to God to offer our skill for His use.
Mike Pflederer - Vice President of BMI
Mike Pflededrer and his wife Karen live in Tremont, Illinois and they are the parents of 4 grown children and they have one grandson. Mike is the President and Owner if Benchmark Construction Management Inc. in Tremont Illinois. Mike has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma but has recently begun taking seminary classes on line through Tennessee Temple University. Mike is actively serving in his church, Harvest Bible Chapel – Peoria, by serving on the missions leadership team and as a deacon with responsibilities of set-up each week as the church is currently a “portable church” without a permanent location. Mike and Karen also serve as small group leaders at Harvest and open up their home each week to their small group. Mike believes that the main objective of missions is the Church and the main objective of the Church is Missions.
Adam C. Fettig, D.M.D. Secretary/Treasure of BMI
Dr. Adam C. Fettig has been practicing in Kirkland, WA since the summer of 2000, upon completing his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Adam and his wife Amy have two children ages 5 and 7. Adam has a heart for missions, and the Latin American people in particular. He has served with multiple medical/dental mission organizations in Honduras, Haiti, Guatemala and Nicaragua. Adam began working with Jared and Tanya Cox as a short-term medical missionary in 2003 providing much needed dental care and oral surgery to the people of Ometepe Island. Adam's desire is to support missionaries in Latin America who train and disciple national pastors to plant churches and grow God's kingdom. Adam's specialty training and business experience are a valuable skill set in the mission field. Adam's desire is to provide support, encouragement and direct assistance to effective missionaries.
